LET THIS TRUE STORY SERVE AS A WARNING

To the men : warn your loved ones!
To the women : remember this!

About a month ago there was a woman standing by the Mega Mall entrance passing out flyers to all the women going in. The woman had written the flyer herself to tell about an experience she had, so that she might warn other women.

The previous day, this woman had finished shopping, went out to her car and discovered that she had a flat. She got the jack out of the trunk and began to change the flat. A nice man dressed in business suit and carrying a briefcase walked up to her and said,

'I notice you're changing a flat tire. Would you like me to take care of it for you?'

The woman was grateful for his offer and accepted his help. They chatted amiably while the man changed the flat, and then put the flat tire and the jack in the trunk, shut it and dusted his hands off.

The woman thanked him profusely, and as she was about to get in her car, the man told her that he left his car around on the other side of the mall, and asked if she would mind giving him a lift to his car. She was a little surprised and asked him why his car was on the other side. He explained that he had met an old friend in the mall whom he hadn't seen for some time and they had a bite to eat and visited for a while; he got turned around in the mall and left through the wrong exit, and now he was running late and his car was clear around on the other side of the mall.

The woman hated to tell him 'no' because he had just rescued her from having to change her flat tire all by herself, but she felt uneasy. Then she remembered seeing the man put his briefcase in her trunk before shutting it and before he asked her for the ride to his car.

She told him that she'd be happy to drive him to his car, but she just remembered one last thing she needed to buy. She said she would only be a few minutes; he could sit down in her car and wait for her; she would be as quick as she could be. She hurried into the mall, and told a security guard what had happened; the guard came out to her car with her, but the man had left.

They opened the trunk, took out his locked briefcase and took it down to the police station. The police opened it (ostensibly to look for ID so they could return it to the man). What they found was rope, duct tape and knives.

When the police checked her 'flat' tire, there was nothing wrong with it; the air had simply been let out. It was obvious what the man's motive was, and obvious that he had carefully thought it out in advance.

The woman was blessed to have escaped harm. How much worse it would have been had she waited in the car while the man fixed the tire, or if she had a baby strapped into a car seat. Or if she'd gone against her judgment and given him a lift. I'd like you toforward this to all the women you know.

It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle. I was going to send this to the ladies only; but guys, if you love your mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, etc., you may want to pass it on to them as well.

Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world we live in has a lot of crazies in it....better safe than sorry.

Manufacturing fake eggs

Step 1 modulation of raw materials
Using 7 kinds of chemical materials, see pic above. Fake egg was made from calcium carbonate, starch, resin, gelatin, alum and other chemical products.

Step 2 egg production
Raw "egg" poured into the mould to 2 / 3 full. Adding calcium chloride, colouring dye, the eggappears on the film. The 'yolk' is shaped in the round mould. 'Magic water' containing calcium chloride is used.

By adding a yellow pigment, it becomes raw egg yolk.

Step 3 Fake egg takes shape in the mould changing into 1 / 3 raw egg white. An egg shell will come out slowly. It takes about 1 hour to dry after rinsing with water.

Step 4 It is immersed in paraffin wax (repeated several times) until the shell becomes a little dry, and then immersed in cold running water. At this point, the egg has been put on a false layer of yoke. You're done!

Hard shells are formed by soaking in paraffin wax onto the egg, which are then left to dry.

The Egg is ready. The artificial egg shell is very fragile and breaks easily!! Looks so real

Small bubbles are formed during the frying of the egg but not many people can tell the difference. The egg looks exactly the same, and the eggs taste better than a real but you are adding to the human statistics in food poisoning.

Why manufacture fake eggs?
Because of money naturally.....

The cost of a cloned egg costs only 0.55 Yuan/kg, while the marketed price of a real egg is 5.6 Yuan/kg.

Cases of problem foods and food poisoning are widely reported in mainland China over the last few years. In 2001, there were 185 cases of food poisoning, affecting about 15,715 people and causing 146 deaths. The cases doubled in 2002. In 2003, the number of reported cases was ten times more than that in 2001, and the number of people suffered was as high as 29,660, including 262 deaths Now In Sept 2008 Nearly 53,000 Chinese children sick from contaminated milk; 4 have died.

GEORGE TOWN – Pejabat Penguat Kuasa Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan (KPDNKK) negeri bertindak merampas sebanyak 270 biji telur ayam yang dipercayai tiruan di tiga buah premis di Pasar Pulau Tikus di sini semalam.

Dalam serbuan yang dilakukan oleh sepasukan anggota penguat kuasa KPDNKK kira-kira pukul 10.30 pagi itu, sebanyak 90 biji telur ayam ditemui di setiap premis tersebut.

Difahamkan, semua pemilik premis berkenaan memperoleh telur ayam yang mempunyai saiz luar biasa itu daripada dua pemborong yang berpangkalan di negeri itu.

Malah, peniaga juga mendakwa, mereka tidak dimaklumkan mengenai ketulenan telur yang dibekalkan oleh pemborong berkenaan sebaliknya hanya menjual seperti telur biasa pada harga RM11 bagi setiap 30 biji.

Ketua Pegawai Penguat kuasa PPDNKK, M. Guna Selan berkata, pihaknya bertindak merampas kesemua telur tersebut untuk dikaji ketulenannya.

Menurut beliau, pemeriksaan ke atas tiga buah premis menjual telur tersebut dilakukan berdasarkan laporan Persatuan Pengguna Pulau Pinang (CAP) berhubung isu tersebut kelmarin.

“Kami segera membuat pemeriksaan ke atas premis-premis yang didakwa menjual telur tersebut.

Here are some hot scams(new scams no.21 down below) in Malaysia, briefly,

1) The Cafe Scams
Island Red Cafe & Stevens Corner(strange, both in Pandan Indah) - Island Red Cafe collects members RM6,000 each and promised 5% return every month and even give you a name in the ROC as a shareholder but what's the point when they run away ? Stevens Corner, the famous indian coffee shop follows due to drop of business since their renovation. They collect RM3,000 per member and promise return of RM150 monthly and plans to open nice fanchisee cafe called StevensTeaGarden. Someone mentioned they will make you sign an agreement that give them the rights NOT to pay you anything in future. If you really wish to join, ask for a copy of their agreement and consult your lawyer BEFORE paying them. Bet you will NOT get a copy. Both collect monies from new members with MLM recruitment schemes and pay the old members like Sunshine Empire. You never know when they will run away.

2) Sunshine Empire
This licensed and legal Company has an impressive office at the ground level of KUB building along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, near Menara Public Bank and AmBank Building. They also have a showroom office at the ground level in the next building. 2 or 3 months ago, Singapore's Straits Times and The Paper published big news reminding their people to be careful and NOT to believe in them. Hope someone can put up the link or google for it.(As expected, they STOPPED paying back members now and all investors LOST their money).

Someone below has put a link to the Singapore news. In fact there are more to it. Although Singapore is investigating them, they did not stop their business as the business is legal and so far, no Singaporean have failed to receive their commissions as promised. Thus, the government cannot stop them yet.

The news published that the founder, director and group president is someone named James Phang but he is NOT the owner. Isn't this quite strange ? At the end of the game, James Phang can just disappear from the Company easily and claimed that he was just "employed". Such trick always happened in scam businesses.

Now, the Company has STOPPED paying commissions and interests to members with the excuse that the Singapore government has freezed their bank account while under investigation. Do you think their boss will be so stupid to keep much monies in the bank to be freezed ? They are all transfered away. It's just an excuses not to pay back to members and members are only paid "e-bonus-points" which is cashless. If they wish to convert to cash, they have to recruit new members to pay them cash and the recruiter less out trom the amount. So victims act like Vampires and "forced" to victimise other victims if they wish to get their monies back. And their victims will later transform to vampires and the scam carries on.....

3) MOBILWALLET
This Company owned by 2 young men, Stanley & Rey Gan, office in Queens Avenue Park has collect multi-millions the last 2 years. Claimed that they tied up with Telekoms, Utility Board payment like Water & Electricity bills, even Maybank got fooled by them. Advertisement Billboards everywhere. They STOPPED paying back their members few months ago and the members cannot do anything because they are made to sign an agreement unaware that they have to claims if the company stopped paying them by CHANGING terms and policies.

4) Water businesses
Oxygenated and alkaline water products - Some of these are bottled water and some are filters or equipment that claimed the trick. One of the better known Company that sold "oxygen" water is SITO(supposed to stand for Selangor International Trading Organiszation and claimed Selangor State Government owned some share in it). The key person and founder is a Dato Robert Ong from Rawang but his name is no longer in the business now. Their products are sold for RM2 to RM3 for a 350ml bottle and now concentrating mostly in the Indian market. Their Chinese and Malays market are long gone since a year or 2 ago. Their customers are made to believe that their water has more oxygen and able to give miraculous effects for the body. Water is H2O, how to put more O into it ? Anyone knows how much oxygen do we breathe into our body everyday at FOC ? Latest news is that this SITO Company is going to create new label to market under a new Company since the SITO name has already gone bad. Someone informed that this Company is owing alot of money (due to refunds) to ex-stockists but just refuse to pay them.
Latest news, SITO shifted to another place and their MLM business has closed but planning to start again with a different name, beware !!)Alkaline Products - Can anyone explain how it can work for the body ? The stomach's gastric liquid is so acidic that water of any pH that goes through it will not make any difference.

5) Car Fuel Booster
K-Link, the famous scam MLM Company that sold the footpatch TAKARA, later the "cock-ring" and energy-card launched the patrol-saving pills last year. Got so hot that even grocery shops are selling for them. Recently many of these cars that used the pills are rushing to the workshops to clean the residual. Few months ago, another MLM Company launched a fuel booster gadget, claimed that saves up to 20% fuel, that is attached to the cigarette lighter. Started off well using binary plan but businese begin to fade now and most users find it NOT effective.

6) Perfumery Products(
eg. Lampe Berger & Bel Air)(more details later). Lampe Berger is not so hot now in the neighbouring countries but there are still new victims every month in Malaysia. Must thanks to those who have contributed and kept the thread alive here in Kopitiam. Bel-Air have closed in Malaysia. LB is almost zero in Singapore. This perfumery product from France with over 100 years history are just bottles and fragrances(check the factory's website) but the Company marketing them in Asia claimed "aromatheraphy" products. Hong Kong TVB aired a program that exposed their scam but their members claimed that HK's TVB already apologised to them (no evidence, of course). Note that the biggest strenght in a MLM Scam is their members will go all the way to lie in order to defend for their Company. The reason is simple; these members fear that they will not be able to make their money back if the Company collapsed. Knowing that the Lampe Berger products are moving slow, they add a line of skincare products named Estebel, also claime to have over 100 years history in France. (Hardly anymore Chinese newcomers, they are now tapping the Malays in Malaysia). Mostly only Bumis active members now but their top earner Steven Yeam have already left and started a new MLM Company (see No. 21 below).

7) Energy Products
(eg. stone pendants, bracelets, mattress and pillows). They use all sorts of gimmicks and demonstration to make you into believing them. They will do some tricks and demo to prove that these products really produce energy BUT is there any tricks in their demo ? So what if there really produce energy; is it good or strong enough to help the body ? Are those simple products made of some simple materials worth RM300 to up to RM3000 each ? The effect is actually PLACEBO which I will elaborate in a new thread soon.(more details later)

8) Hi-Tech products
(names like bio-tech, nano-tech that claimed millions of dollars of research involved, eg Bio-Young and XKL few years ago). Most of these will claimed a professor behind them (even with name and picture of a person) or used words like "U.S.A. formula", "German Technology" or "Nanotechnology" but with no further details. If you ask for more details like the professor or factory's address, the answer will be "trade secrets".

9) Investment Schemes
SWISSCASH is the King of all. Swisscash is nearly over now but there are many similar and smaller ones that are still on.(Now, it's closed or stopped paying back members)

10) GoldQuest
This Company that claimed to be HK-based started with some non-value gold-plated coins that are sold for over RM2,000 have several names and changed products several times. QuestVacation, QuestNet, etc. They have several offices in Amcorp Mall, PJ and their key person (in fact, the owner), a Malaysian Indian was arrested last year in Indonesia for having involved in a very big Phillipines scam. Most of their overseas offices are closed or inactive but their Malaysia business is still hot, with some "energy" products.(Can someone please provide a link which showed the news that their boss was involved in a big scam in Philippines and was arrested last year ?)

11) Numerology & Fortune telling
A Company named Visiber is using MLM to sell fortune telling classes using your birthday based on Numerology fortune telling. Prpspects will be told that they need to buy a certain "number" between 1 to 9 in the form of pendants or bracelets made of silver with stainless steel or platinum plated, and sold from RM600 to RM20,000. Customers, or rather victims are mostly females from rural areas. Very hot in Penang now and a number of spin-off Companies have started.

12) MJ-Life
This Company boost of a very big background with many many years of history which is NOT true. Their people or associates may be long in business but nothing to do with their MLM launched recently. Why do I consider it a scam or bad ? New members are told to pay a sum of money (up to RM1000) and you get NOTHING for it. You only get a membership can entitle you to enjoy all sorts of special price and discounts when you have medical check-ups in their centres. They will claim all those check-ups cost more if done elsewhere. It's not true. Only the naive and those new to medical check-ups will fall victims to them. Most members who paid the money ended up with nothing.

13) Seaweed Venture Scams
1 such Company is located in Taman Maluri, Cheras. They will ask you to invest a few thousands ringgits for their venture of growing seaweeds in East Malaysia and you are guaranteed returns. To gain your confidence further, they will tell you your investment money is secured by "insurance" or "unit trusts" & "trustees". When you ask for further documents to prove, they will give all sorts of excuses or just ignore you because they know they cannot get you. These Seaweed scam is one of the hottest now, warn all your friends about it before they are victimised.

14) MXM (previously MGM)
This is a master scam owned by a Dato Kam (Pathlab) tapping the younger group, very successful 2 or 3 years ago but since they moved to their big 10-storey office at Phileo Damansara and changed name to MXM, their business dropped. They collect members RM3,000 to RM4,000 with credit card monthly easy payment and in return you get a hospital benefits insurance from Pacific Insurance worth only a few hundred RMs together with some you-don't-need medical check-ups from their associate Company Pathlab. Also talk about fitness, lifestyles bullshit that is all worthless.

15) Gano Excel/I-Touch Life/GEW2u
This company from the north, a copycat of DXN selling Lingzhi capsules created a new Company called Gano iTouch to cash-in on the internet like e-Cosway after their Company went down the drain since the last 2 years, selling Linzhi and some no-value energy pendants and alkaline water gadgets. They provide free transport every weekend from KL to visit their Alor Star office. It did not work well and recently in mid-2009 changed name to GEW.

16) NuLife(HK)
This Company started by some HK people has been in Malaysia for more than 10 years but they have flopped in HK and Malaysia due to bad management and a product scam making use of a prosecuted American named Dr Jeffrey Bland, found guilty of false products claim. Since this case in the US leaked out and many Malaysians found out that the real boss in HK is a Steven Tang (he cheated many Malaysians in another scheme about 20 years ago) their business went down all the way. Now they claim Malaysian partners cheated them and start a new Company in Malaysia. Watch out, this new Company will come out with some investment scheme idea that will get many to lose their money.

17) Arowana Fish Breeding, Oora from Germany, Biofuel(Kompleks Maluri) etc
These are some newer scams. Arowana fish venture ask you to invest some money and give you fixed return. Biofuel will tell you their Indonesia connections (just like Sunshine Empire before using Taiwan) & Oora from Germany that market some bio-chips and a gadget that claims to give energy and therapeutic effects of accupunture, tai-chi, yoga, etc depending how you set the toy-like gadget, wear it on your body and you get the effect later. They could not explain or provide any demonstration to prove their effectiveness. Only doctors and papers claim that I will never trust. The health effect is actually PLACEBO, which I will elaborate in a different thread.

18) Easy-Pharmax !!
How could I missed this out earlier. I thought I mentioned this until I got e-mails asking me about it. This is easily in the TOP 3 during the last 2 years. Owned by a Dato Yeap (another Dato !!) Members are tricked to invest up to RM40,000 with the false promise that the Company will use e-commerce and online selling to dispose their goods and recover their monies. It won't happen, of course.

19) Gold Investment Scheme
This is an old trick but back again by several Companies promising a GURANTEE FIXED RETURN income like many other schemes. Try to ask for a copy of their fixed return agreement and consult your lawyer. Common sense tell you any business that promises a fixed return to UNLIMITED numbers of investors, higher than bank interests must be a scam.

20) Score-A or Skor-A:
This Company sells you an online program of past Malaysian examinations papers for primary and secondary school students for self-testing for up to a few hundred RMs per membership. It actually cost them nothing. Members are told to invest in a few units, again using MLM with the promise of getting rich. The same program can be purchased from Utusan for just a fraction of their price and you can get better programs.

21) NEW SCAMS :

a) GRI(Global Royal International)
The boss behind this scheme is multi-billionaire James Pang (the big scammer waiting for trial in Singapore because of Sunshine Empire). Before Sunshine Empire, he operated NOP and SwissCash. This time, he is using a lot of representatives and MLM leaders since his passport is held by Singapore government and he cannot come to Malaysia. I am told that anyone who is bold enough to call himself a MLM leader in Malaysia can visit his rep in Malaysia or Singapre and they will be given at least RM5,000 as some expenses subdsidy if you are willing to market for them.

b) One Community Worldwide
Tapping a mostly Bumi market and owned by Steven Yeam (SYN) and Willie Lim of Lampe Berger previously (the Chinese no longer trust them). They are selling a negative ion mattress for RM25,000 !! The same modal, I have seen before for RM2000 from Korea. If you cannot afford RM25K ??? You can buy therapy package for RM300. Don't believe in such product ? You can go for some chlorostrum (virgin cow's milk from nowhere)

c) English-Learning Program Online
ESL(an online English learning program) You are asked to pay RM100 for one or 2 years usage of online learning. Started by a Malaysian Indian man by the name of Dr. Edward, this program has changed names at least 2 or 3 times since the last one year due to poor response and a lot of "technical problems". I consider it a scam because you are paying money for nothing tangible to direct-selling company through MLM and their program has been very "unstable" as my source put it.

KUALA LUMPUR: Some scratch-and-win companies are already getting their salespersons to hit the road and push Chinese New Year packages, a former worker with one such firm said.

Tze Meng (not his real name) also told The Star how he first became involved in the trade and how such companies operated.

He said he started off when he answered an advertisement for a sales job in a Chinese daily.

“The returns or commissions are good; sometimes we get up to 25% of whatever sales we manage from those who supposedly won the scratch and win or draw.

“If we bring in 25 customers, we get at least RM3,000 and this can be achieved within three days.”

Tze Meng revealed that most of the salesmen were from the rural areas, who were naive and thought they could hit the sales target by working hard.

During orientation, Tze Meng said the manager would teach the new recruits how to convince customers to buy their products.

“The ‘lecturer’ made it seem easy to make thousands of ringgit and said everything was legal.

“We were handed 20 cards – 10 with prizes and the others with the words ‘Thank You’ on it,” he added.

Tze Meng said they would be taken to locations such as a shopping complexes, bus terminals, LRT stations, hypermarkets and sometimes outside banks.

“We were taught how to target our customers. If a person is young and we think that they do not have the money then we offer them the ‘Thank You’ card to scratch.

“If the person is older and looks well off, we use the cards that offer prizes like electrical items, energy water system, home theatre system or digital stove worth between RM4,000 and RM5,000,” he added.

Tze Meng said the winner would be brought to the office where a supervisor would give a briefing about the “other prizes” he or she could win; and how much to fork out to redeem them.

They would also be lured into believing they could win a Toyota Altis, Persona, Perodua Viva, 42-inch Plasma TV, LCD TV, Honda motorcycle, refrigerator and video camera.

Before that, the victims would be asked to fill up an agreement form.

“The fine print states that the victims bought the items voluntarily.

“The goods bought were also not returnable,” he added.

However, in most cases, the lucrative prizes never materialised and the customers ended up owning a cheap mattress after forking out thousands.

FURNITURE SHOP

Those who stay at Shah Alam area section U9 will familiar with GALAXY FURNITURE. This shop located in a row of Funiture Shop.

I went there to by a book shelf only, but unfortunately the good i received is not good condition. eventhough the price only RM99, but i really FRUSTRATED with the service and product.

When i bought, i request the salesman to HELP me to assembly the book shelf but he refuse to help by giving the reason:
1. cash and carry normally won't do
2. because Sunday can not help if others day will help.

So i try to check the quality of item in the box. During i opened it another salesman or may be boss said the product is ok. So i discontinue checking and go back home.

Reached home i just realized that the box was wet before. Went i opened, i found out that the wood was wet before and got "spora" and dirty. So i just continue assemble. After i finish assemble i found out that some of wood worn it caused by wet.

So i decided not to claim back to that shop. But i will suggest that please check properly if you buy furniture in a box that need to assemble by yourself.

Scam credit card in Hotel

Duped by credit card scam upon check in at Hotel

You arrive at your hotel and check in at the front desk.
When checking in, you give the front desk your credit card (for all the charges for your room). You get to your room and settle in.
Someone calls the front desk and asked for (example) Room 620 (which happens to be your room).
Your phone rings in your room.
You answer and the person on the other end says the following, ' This is the front desk.
When checking in, we came across a problem with your charge card information.
Please re-read me your credit card number and verify the last 3 digits numbers at the reverse side of your charge card.
'Not thinking anything you might give this person your information, since the call seems to come from the front desk.
But actually, it is a scam of someone calling from outside the hotel/front desk. They ask for a random room number.
Then, ask you for credit card information and address information.
Sounding so professional that you do think you are talking to the front desk.
If you ever encounter this problem on your vacation, tell the caller that you will be down at the front desk to clear up any problems.
Then, go to the front desk and ask if there was a problem.
If there was none, inform the manager of the hotel that someone called to scam you of your credit card information acting like a front desk employee.
If you feel that the tips are useful, please forward it to your relatives, friends & colleague.

If you receive a phone call on your mobile from any person, saying that, that they're checking your mobile line, and you have to press # 90 or #09 or any other number.End this call immediately without pressing any numbers.

There is a fraud company using a device that once you press #90 or #09 they can access your 'SIM' card and make calls at your expense.

Forward this message to as many friends as you can, to stop it.

This information has been confirmed by both Motorola and Nokia.

**Berhati-hati jika menerima panggilan atau sms dari Unit "Kad Kredit Palsu"

Bank Negara Malaysia would like to caution members of the public to be vigilant when receiving any calls or SMS claiming that it is from Bank Negara Malaysia or any commercial banks.

The facts are:

* There is no department called "Unit Kad Kredit Palsu" in Bank Negara Malaysia
* 8659-XXXX is not a Bank Negara Malaysia telephone line
* Bank Negara Malaysia will NEVER request for personal banking information through SMS or telephone calls.

Based on recent complaints received by Bank Negara Malaysia , there has been an increase in incidents of fraudsters making such calls and sending SMS to unknowing members of the public in order to fraudulently obtain their personal banking information, with the aim of siphoning monies from one's account.

>From Bank Negara Malaysia 's investigations, the modus operandi of the scam is as follows:
1. Victim receives SMS or telephone call: Requesting victim to confirm a credit card transaction for the purchase of goods or services purportedly charged to the victim's credit card.
2. When victim calls the telephone number provided in the SMS, the fraudsters identify themselves as agents of a commercial bank, and again, ask the victim to confirm whether the credit card transaction had taken place.
3. When victim informs the fraudster that he has no such credit card or transaction, the fraudster will start to sound concerned and will advise victim to lodge a report with Bank Negara Malaysia 's "Unit Kad Kredit Palsu", or with the commercial bank's "credit card management department". The fraudster will provide the victim with the telephone number for the "Unit Kad Kredit Palsu".
4. When victim calls the telephone number provided, they are greeted by a automated voice message which identifies the company as Bank Negara Malaysia, and the call will then be answered by someone claiming to be a Bank Negara Malaysia officer. This officer will request for information relating to the victim's banking and credit card accounts under the pretense of lodging a complaint on behalf of the victim.
5. The fraudsters now have sufficient information to illegally transfer funds out of the victim's bank account.
Members of the public are reminded not to disclose their personal banking information to any unknown party without verification.

Jam 1.50 Petang ....

Pada hari isnin 9-3-2009 baru ini saya melalui jalan dari KL ke JB, setibanya di antara Tangkak dan exit Pagoh KM 148 kereta yang saya pandu tiba2 hilang kawalan, berpusing dan berhenti selepas seketika berpusing di dalam longkang besar di tepi h/way tersebut. Mungkin akan ada suara nakal menyatakan saya memandu laju, mmg patut la termasuk dalam longkang tetapi semasa kejadian tersebut saya hanya memandu pada 100km/j sahaja...

Semasa itu yang bermain di fikiran adakah berlaku mechanical failure? tayar pancit ke? atau tayar tidak mencengkam jalanraya akibat waterpool di bahagian tertentu h/way tersebut...

Jam 2.30 petang

Seketika selepas mengambil gambar kereta saya dan setelah menghubungi polis serta PLUS sebuah kereta Peugeot berwarna silver dari lane kiri didepan mata saya juga berpusing nampak macam gerak perlahan je semasa berpusing. Saya nampak dengan jelas kerana ketika itu saya duduk berhampiran dengan kereta anggaran kelajuan kereta tersebut hanyalah pada 60-70km/j sahaja... Anggaran kerosakan hanyalah sekitar RM2000- RM3000 sahaja, roda kiri hadapan serta fender kiri sahaja......... Adakah kebetulan mechanical failure atau kecuaian saya dan pemandu kereta kedua ini?

Polis penyiasat trafik dari Balai Polis Tangkak sampai...

Ketika saya dan 2 orang adik ipar saya berbual dengan owner kereta yg kedua, sebuah Honda City juga berpusing dan melayang kearah kami yg sedang berbual di seberang longkang. Dalam keadaan kucar kacir tersebut kami cuba lari dari arah kereta yg datang dan spontan terus melompat menyeberang longkang h/way tersebut. Keadaan kereta Honda tersbut agak teruk dan nampaknya body Honda ni ringan melayang terus menyeberangi longkang dan melanggar 2 tiang kebun diberhentikan oleh pokok2 kecil seolah2 belukar diseberang longkang tersebut.
Adik ipar saya cedera akibat terjatuh semasa melompat......

Ketika kami membincangkan perkara2 yang perlu dilakukan selepas kejadian, tiba2 sebuah kereta Mercedes Benz S350 juga berpusing dan menghala juga ke arah kami nasib kami baik kerana kereta tersebut telah dihentikan oleh kereta Peugeot , jika tidak memang kami yg sedang berbual kena sapu dengan Merc tersebut............ Peugeot - telah remuk belakang, tepi dan hadapan (total loss).. Malang nasib pak cik tu... asal rugi 2k-3k terus total loss....

Pegawai penyiasat trafik terus mengarahkan bomba datang untuk melihat keadaan jalan serta kami diarahkan untuk berdiri jauh dari kawasan kejadian... Jawapan bomba - Jalan raya tidak mempunyai minyak.......................... bomba terus pergi selepas tgk lokasi......................?????

Persoalannya disini adakah betul diperkatakan bahawa jalan tersebut disabotaj oleh tow truck yang cuba mencari keuntungan? atau, kecuaian dari PLUS yg tidak menyelenggara jalan dengan baik? atau, benarkah dakwaan penduduk tangkak bahawa KM 131 - KM 168 mempunyai sesuatu yang aneh? misteri? penunggu?

entahlah.... mcm mana pun nasihat saya berhati2 lah dengan jalan tersebut...............................

If you meet a guy (especially Indian) who rides a motorbike with bloody hand knocking your window demand you to stop and asking for tissue paper to clean the blood when you are riving a car, remember DO NOT stop the car. at all. Even how he damages your car or holds the side mirrors tightly also DO NOT stop the car but directly drive to the nearest police station. This kind of criminal tactics had been reported about 40 cases in Seremban,K. Lumpur, Shah Alam, P.Jaya and Klang Town police stations (actually around the whole country also happen). These guys are mainly Indian gangsters, They work in a group and dared to commit this criminal even in the crowded area whereby no body will dare to stop the car to help you. The main purpose of this dirty tactic is to rob you and / or even commit rape if you are female driver driving alone. Please forward this message to the people you care about at your best.

Aku baru terbaca mengenai tulisan Khai di blognya mengenai Facebook. Selepas selesai membacanya, aku rasa terpanggil untuk berkongsi cerita mengenai Facebook ini. Walaupun bagi sesetengah orang cerita ini cerita lama, tetapi apa salahnya aku kongsikan

sekali lagi sebagai info tambahan.

Ramai yang suka menggunakan laman web sosial seperti MySpace, Frienster, Tagged dan juga Facebook untuk mencari kawan dan juga member lama di ruangan maya. Ada yang menjadikan laman web sosial sebegini sebagai satu tempat untuk mereka berkarya, tidak kurang juga yang menjadikannya sebagai satu tempat dalam memperjuangkan wadah dan pemikiran masing-masing. Yang penting, ianya PERCUMA dan itulah yang aku ingin kongsikan.

Lamab web sosial sekarang tidak ubah seperti blog. Dengan menggunakan umpan yang paling senang iaitu PERCUMA, berduyun-duyun pengguna Internet akan berusaha untuk mendapat satu account bagi diri masing-masing. Apatah lagi kalau username mereka masih belum diguna pakai oleh orang lain.

Betul`kan? Jadi sebagai pembuka kata, hari ini kita akan berkongsi sedikit info mengenai laman web sosial yang sedang meletup iaitu FACEBOOK.Sebenarnya, ada sebahagian "dark side" yang tidak diketahui oleh berjuta pengguna internet di dunia ini mengenai Facebook. Ini adalah satu konspirasi teori yang telahpun menjadi fakta benar dan apa yang boleh kita lakukan sekarang adalah "lihat" dan "terus melihat". Jika ada di antara kita yang telah meletakkan butir-butir peribadi sebenar di dalam Facebook, maknanya tiada apa lagi yang kita boleh lakukan.

Sedarkah kita siapa sebenarnya di belakang Facebook? Sedarkah kita bahawa semua data-data yang kita berikan itu telahpun disimpan oleh pihak CIA? Mereka boleh mengakses semua mengenai kita dan dengan mudah mendapat semua butir-butir diri tanpa perlu bertanya kepada kita, bos kita, kawan-kawan kita, pihakuniversiti kita, keluarga kita dan banyak lagi sumber at anytime they want!! Dan yang lebih menyedihkan lagi, ramai dari kita terutamanya rakyat Malaysia sudahpun memberikan 100% info dan butir-butir diri mereka dengan TEPAT.

Apabila ditanya,mereka dengan mudah menjawab, "nanti kalau member lama atau member sekolah ingin mencari kita… senang sikit!" Malang sekali bukan itu yang berlaku. Dalam pada keghairahan yang kita sendiri wujudkan terhadap Facebook, kita sedikitpun tidak membaca dasar ataupun polisi yang Facebook letak di dalam laman web mereka. Yang kita tahu hanyalah PERCUMA dan sikap ramah dan jujur kita itulah yang boleh

memakan diri kita sendiri sebenarnya.

Cuba bayangkan!!!

Facebook yang telah menjadi kegilaan pengguna internet adalah tempat yang paling mudah untuk CIA mendapatkan data peribadi mereka dengan PERCUMA. Bagi pengguna kebanyakan (mereka yang bukan extreme), mungkin ia tidak akan membawa keuntungan kepada pihak CIA tetapi bagi mereka yang mempunyai "title" sebagai"professional" seperti seorang doktor, peguam, PROFESSOR, scientist dan yang seumpamanya… inilah MANGSA CIA yang sebenarnya. Mengapa? Kerana sama ada kita percaya atau tidak, ramai golongan professional yang meletakkan segala butir-butir mengenai diri mereka dengan lengkap bagai nak rak dengan alasan mereka mempunyai kawan di seluruh dunia dan masing-masing tidak mahu "kalah" dalam menceritakan semua kejayaan dan kegiatan yang telah mereka kecapi. Bukankah itu semua adalah PRIVACY diri sendiri?

Pernahkah kita/mereka fikirkan mengenai RISIKO yang mereka letakkan ke atas diri mereka sendiri?

- Habis semua data mengenai aktiviti dimasukkan.

- Habis semua data mengenai achievement diri dimasukkan.

- Address, hometown, phone number, clubs, jobs, rekod pendidikan, interests, daily schedule…. habis diberikan begitu sahaja.

Itu semua akan disimpan oleh pihak CIA sebagai data yang boleh dijadikan statistik untuk kegunaan mereka pada masa hadapan.

Kita marah bila orang mengambil tahu hal kita.Kita marah bila orang mencungkil privacy kita. Tapi kita tidak sedar yang kita telah "berikan" semuanya di dalam Facebook kita!

Ikut percakapan kasar orang di warung kopi, bunyinya memang menarik. Ini dialognya:

Esok kalau katakan mereka hendak menyerang Malaysia, mereka sudahpun tahu dimanakah golongan bijak pandai di Malaysia ini berada/tinggal. Sebelum dia serang,mereka akan bunuh dahulu golongan bijak pandai ini…. tiada apa yang tinggal. Bukankah semua info yang mereka perlukan sudahpun ada dalam tangan mereka?

Memang betul.

Itu memang satu fakta. Tiada siapapun boleh menafikannya.

Dan ini juga adalah satu fakta:

Facebook telah di tampung sebanyak USD500,000 oleh bekas CEO Paypal, Peter Thiel. Jadi tiada masalah untuk mempromosikannya. Tidak cukup dengan itu, sebanyak USD12.7 juta telah dilaburkan ke dalam Facebook oleh James Breyer dari Accel Partners. Mereka semuanya ada agenda yang mereka sendiri faham. Jika kamu hendaktahu siapakah mereka semua ini dan siapakah DALANG di sebalik laman web sosial ini.

Satu lagi, pihak CIA sendiri menggunakan Facebook group to untuk merekrut staffnya bagi program kesayangan mereka iaitu National Clandestine Service. Malah, Dr Anita Jones juga telah menjadi sebahagian dari Dark Side ini. Dr Anita Jones adalah Defence

Research and Engineering Director untuk US Department of Defence.

Bersosial di laman web seperti Facebook ini tidaklah salah. Malah bagus kerana silap haribulan, boleh buat duit lagi. Tapi berhati-hatilah dengan semua privasi diri sendiri. Jangan sesekali memberikan maklumat penting. Palsukan semua maklumat yang dirasakan tinggi privasinya.

Kalau tidak percaya,pergilah di Fotopages dan lihat siapakah pengguna terbesar Fotopages kelolaan rakyat Israel tu…! Jawapannya adalah rakyat Malaysia. Tidak syak lagi… Jadi, apa yang perlu kita lakukan sekarang? Jawapannya mudah. Bagi mereka yang pernah memasukkan data privasi mereka, senyum sahajalah. Bagi mereka yang belum dan baru nak mendaftar, berhati-hati.

1. For the first time when you enter the right pin number, a message 'invalid pin number' pops up.
1. Bila anda menekan no. pin (6 digits), pemberitahuan 'nombor pin salah' terpapar di skrin.

2. Then, when you enter your pin number for the second time, a message 'invalid pin number, please call this number 'xxx-xxxx' pops up.
2. Bila menekan no. pin kali kedua, pemberitahuan 'nombor pin salah', sila hubungi nombor telefon 'xxx-xxxx' terpapar di skrin

3. If you call this number, you will lose all your money.
3. Jika anda membuat panggilan, anda akan kehilangan semua wang anda.

NOTE: If you encounter the above matter, please DO NOT call the number. One of my friends just lost RM70000 on last Sunday and Maybank checked his last transaction was on that day itself even though he did not withdraw any money. Please forward this to your friends.

Penipuan Gores dan Menang

Kepada semua orang yang ada di Kota bharu, Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur...
Saudara/saudari sekalian,
Terdapat syarikat penjualan barangan electric seperti Induction Cooker, Vacuum, Penapis air, Owen dan SET KUARI sebagainya di Pasaraya-pasaraya. Promoter-promoter syarikat berkenaan akan menyatakan mereka adalah wakil agen untuk penjual barangan elektrik.. Tetapi ini semua bohong belaka.

Mereka merupakan syarikat GORES dan MENANG yang selalu disiar di akbar setiap hari tentang penipuan GORES dan MENANG, syarikat yang menjual barangan yang modal RM 200 dengan harga RM 2000 – RM 5000. Mereka bukan sahaja jual satu produk untuk satu pelanggan, tetapi mereka menjual 3 atau 4 produk sekali dengan harga RM 10000 ke atas.

Di manakah boleh dapati?
Biasanya terdapat di pasaraya-pasaraya besar Di Kota Bharu,Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur

Macam mana mereka boleh memujuk kita membeli dengan harga RM 10000?
Mereka akan bagi satu keeping kad untuk koyak yang bernilai RM 200 diskaun secara permulaan, adakala mereka juga akan mengemukakan KAD KOYAK dalam Kotak Cawan yang bernilai RM 1000 untuk menarik saudara dan saudari membeli produk dengan mereka secara satu pakej yang bernilai RM 8000 –RM 10000 ke atas untuk dapat Kad Ahli VIP. Sebenarnya semua barangan dalam pakej itu hanya bermodal tidak lebih RM 1000 daripada mereka. Buktinya barangan adalah jual di Jalan Chow Kit, mereka Cuma lekatkan nama syarikat mereka saja. Contoh Induction Cooker jual RM 2599 tetapi di sana Hanya RM 200 sahaja.

Produk asal dari mana?
Dari CHINA atau THAILAND. Barangan yang murah tapi jual dengan harga yang tinggi.

Ramai kena menipu?
Memang ramai. Pekerja- pekerja frico memang pandai berlakon di depan kita dengan mengucap tahniah dapat baucer diskaun RM 200, RM 1000. Sekiranya kita kata tak percaya, mereka akan buat-buat telefon kepada sesiapa, dan orang itu akan cakap “betul saudara/saudari sudah dapat baucer diskaun RM 200, RM 1000 beli barangan”.

Tujuan pesanan ini dibuat untuk mengelakkan Orang Ramai kena tipu lagi. Kerana ada orang kena tipu sebanyak RM 5000, RM 5000 itu adalah duit simpanan yang disimpan selama 5 tahun tetapi ditipu dalam masa 1 jam.

Sila sebarkan kepada IBU BAPA, saudara dan kawan kawan yang terdekat, bagi mengelakan penipuan lagi..

Another Story: Car Overheated at Tanjung Malim

Last week, while my parents were driving to Kuala Lumpur from Penang, their car broke down somewhere near Tg Malim exit. Therefore, our car was towed to a workshop in Tanjung Malim for repair. After they dismantled our engine, we only being told that the repair will caused us a very unreasonable price which is >RM2k(Anyway, we managed to get it reduce to RM1850 later). Since it is a very unreasonable price, we asked if they can put them back since the car initially still working just that the temperature goes up after sometime. They threaten us that there is no more warranty once we start our engine after they put them back. So, we have no choice but to let them repair.

Four days later, after many phone calls being made and visit their workshop once again, we finally got our car back(of course, after RM1850 being paid). My sister is the one who went to Tanjung Malim to pick up the car since my parents and I already back to Penang. When my sister got the car back, the foreman from this workshop told my sis that one of the paip still leaking, he didn't repair for us because we keep on rushing them for the car. Since, we have had a very bad experience dealing with this workshop, we decided to drive our car back to KL rather than let them repair again.

When my sister reach Subang, she found the car engine mati twice when she slow down. So, she has to send the car for repair again immediately.

My sister has checked with the foreman in KL, with the stuff Hakim has repaired, it might only cost us RM600-RM700 in KL......

Pengalaman Dengan Plus Peronda

Pengalaman saya dengan Plus Peronda apabila kereta saya breakdown di Highway Plus agak kecewa sekali. Semasa kereta saya breakdown di tepi jalan kerana enjin panas/overheat saya telah merujuk masalah tersebut dengan kawan saya. Kawan menasihat supaya berhenti tepi jalan sampai enjin betul-betul sejuk baru cuba masuk air ke dalam radiator/tangki air. Ini kerana untuk mengelakkan enjin kereta rosak, terutama gasket blok enjin dan head enjin. Teorinya apabila besi tengah panas melampau, jangan sesekali menyiram air kepada besi tersebut kerana akan menyebabkan keretakan pada besi.

Tetapi apabila sampai Peronda Plus yang saya anggap berprofesional, dia terus masuk air dalam tangki air terkelu lidah saya. Saya tidak pasti sama ada mereka betul-betul tahu pasal enjin atau sengaja buat begitu. Jika mereka tidak tahu, atau dengan niat untuk nak bagi kereta pengguna terus jalan tanpa menolong dengan betul, tindakan ini akan mejahatnamkan kereta pengguna. Saya berpendapat pihak PLUS telah memberi satu kursus senggara kereta asas kepada kakitangan mereka (Peronda PLUS). Sekiranya mereka tidak tahu hal-hal senggaraan kereta maka mereka tidak layak jadi Peronda PLUS.

Ataupun mungkin Peronda PLUS telah bersubahat dengan golongan tertentu untuk mendapatkan Side Income dengan sengaja merosakkan kereta pengguna Highway supaya lagi teruk kerana ada komisen. Saya tidak pasti kesahihannya. Tetapi kawan-kawan saya juga ada sebut perkara ini. Jadi kita sebagai pengguna herus berhati-hati. Jangan percaya habis kepada Peronda Plus.

Pada pendapat saya Peronda PLUS seharusnya memberi perkhidmatan yang lebih profesional lagi.

Mereka mempunyai kemahiran teknikal ASAS untuk senggara kenderaan untuk mencari punca masalah.
Mampu memberi khidmat nasihat untuk pengguna menyelesaikan masalah.
Mampu memberi pertolongan kepada pengguna dengan ikhlas.

Lampu Check Engine

Simbol ini dipanggil second generation on-board diagnostics (OBD-II) mula diperkenalkan sejak tahun 1996. OBD digunakan untuk mengurus dan mengawal operasi enjin supaya enjin berfungsi dengan efisyen dan memaklumkan bila perlu diservis.

Bila kunci dihidupkan lampu “Service Engine Soon” or “Check Engine” akan menyala kerana OBD akan semak kerosakan. Lampu akan padam apabila tidak ada masalah dikesan.
Apabila lampu OBD nyala semasa memandu. – menunjukkan kenderaan mungkin mengalami pembaziran petrol, jangka hayat enjin pendek atau menyebabkan pencemaran udara yang berlebihan.

Apa tindakan perlu buat bila lampu menyala –
a. Jangan panik
b. Pastikan penutup tangki minyak petrol tidak longgar atau hilang. Sentiasa matikan enjin apabila mengisi petrol.
c. Jika lampu masih tidak padam lagi untuk perjalanan singkat, cuba tukar penutup minyak petrol yang baru ataupun ketatkan lagi serta hantar kereta untuk disemak pada mechanic yang bertauliah. Jangan biar lama ia akan merosakkan kereta anda.

Jika lampu OBD berkelip – masalah yang besar mungkin berlaku perlu diambil tindakan segera. Anda boleh memandu lagi tetapi cuba meminimumkan perjalanan. Jangan cuba memandu laju atau membawa beban yang berat.

Apa mekanik akan buat – untuk tujuan menguji OBD pada kereta mekanik perlu ada alat OBD scan untuk mendianogsis masalah. Mekanik akan menyambung alat kecil pada penyambung biasanya di bawah dashboard untuk download maklumat masalah yang dihadapi. Mekanik akan membaiki kerosakan yang dijumpai. OBD membantu mekanik memudahkan kerja pembaikan kenderaan. Olah itu pasti anda bawa kereta ke kedai yang ada alat OBD scan.

Pengalaman Saya Di Highway PLUS

Saya menggunakan highway PLUS setiap hari berulang alik dari Shah Alam dan Tanjung Malim. Pada 11 Nov 2008 di antara pukul 7 pg hingga 8 pg kereta saya suhu meningkat mendadak sehingga skil meter penuh dekat kawasan nak sampai tol bukit tagar. Saya terus berhenti keta di tepi jalan.

Kemudian saya terus call tanya kawan saya. Kawan saya nasihat, biar enjin sejuk dahulu. Lepas tu baru tambah air dalam tangki air. Semasa menunggu enjin sejuk, PLUS Peronda pun sampai. Dalam hati dah lega ada orang tolong. Dua orang Peronda PLUS turun dari keta dan tanya pada saya apa masalah, saya jawab soalan mereka. Dua Peronda PLUS tu buka radiator keta saya dan terus tambah air ke dalam. Tapi saya tak pasti sama ada mereka sengaja atau betul-betul tak tau mengenai tindakan tersebut.Tindakan dua Peronda itu memang salah sebenarnya, telah menjahatnamkan lagi enjin kereta.

Bila air penuh Peronda PLUS tuh suruh saya start keta. Bila enjin hidup Peronda itu suruh saya tengok meter suhu. Mereka tanya saya suhu ada turun tak? Saya jawab ya turun. Kemudian Peronda tuh suruh saya jalan. (Senang betul kerja, mereka suruh saya macam halau tak nak bagi saya berhenti lama2 kat situ.)

Saya pun terus memandu kereta ke Tanjung Malim. Sampai di antara Lembah Beringin dan Tanjung Malim suhu enjin kereta saya naik lagi. Saya berhenti di tepi jalan lagi eloknya tempat selekoh yang kerap berlaku kemalangan. Nasib baik Peronda ikut belakang. Bila saya berhenti, mereka pun sampai. Seperti biasa mereka turun dari keta dan tanya saya ada air lagi tak dalam keta. Saya jawab ada. Mereka kata nak pegi tempat lain ada kes dan suruh saya isi air dalam radiator kemudian jalan. Selepas itu mereka pun terus pergi.

Saya pun buka bonet dan tengok radiator, dapati ada air menitik dari bawah. (sure radiator telah bocor). Kemudian saya duk sekejap, sampai kereta ulat kat highway. Dia turun tanya saya. Saya bagitau dia perlu tow servis ke woksyop. Lawaknya dia kata tunggu jap dia nak call lori tow. Saya kata keta dia pun boleh tow. Dia baru ingat ada tali dalam keta. (lawak betul). Dia pun tarik kereta saya ke bengkel yang dia kenal katanya. (woksyop yang dah ada kepentingan). Saya yang tak cerdik masa tuh.

Sampai ke HAKIM WOKSYOP di Hulu Bernam dekat Tanjung Malim sebelah pam minyak Esso setentang pam minyak Shell. Tunggu mekanik sampai. Mekanik sampai dia suruh saya start enjin sambil dia tengok air dalam radiator. Dia kata mungkin gasket rosak kena buka enjin tengok. Saya tanya berapa habis dia kata dalam RM300-400. (sebenarnya itu adalah umpan nak senangkan hati). Saya pun suruh dia buka enjin nak cek. Tunggu lama jugak buka enjin nak tengok gasket dan head blok. Bila dah buka head, si mekanik tunjukkan keadaan head dan blok enjin. Dia kata head bengkok dan gasket rosak.

Jai bawa saya ke bilik untuk buat quotation. Banyak dia citer apa kena baiki. Jumlah quotation RM2200. Saya pun balik naik bas dengan hati tak senang. Saya ambik cuti pada hari tersebut dan keesokan hari. Petang hari tuh saya call Jai dia kata ada tambah lagi 2-3 barang. Keesokan hari semasa dalam perjalanan pergi ambik kereta mekanik call bagi tahu harga baiki jadi RM3000 dia kata nanti bagi diskaun. Terkejut saya.

Sampai di Hakim Woksyop mekanik pun bagi diskaun lah RM300 jadi saya kena bayar kat dia RM2700 semua. Setelah selesai, esoknya saya berjumpa dengan kawan saya yang tahu hal-hal automotif ini MEMANG SAH SAYA TELAH DITIPU DENGAN WOKSYOP TERSEBUT. BAB KATA KAWAN SAYA KO KENA SEMBELIH..............
